    Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We only sell essential oils that we use in our own manufacturing process. The blends are formulated and prepared by us.

Yes. Our essential oils are suitable for use in ultrasonic diffusers and oil burners for home fragrance purposes.

Essential oils are highly concentrated and should not be applied directly to the skin without dilution. For general adult use, a dilution of 1 to 2 percent in a carrier oil is commonly recommended. This equates to roughly 1 to 2 drops of essential oil per 5 ml of carrier oil.

For facial use or sensitive skin, a lower dilution of 0.5 to 1 percent is typically advised. Some oils are considered “warming” or more stimulating to the skin, such as cinnamon, clove, oregano, thyme, black pepper or ginger, and should be used at much lower dilution levels and with extra care.

Always perform a patch test before broader application and discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have sensitive skin or are planning to use oils on children, we recommend consulting a qualified medical practitioner before use.

Essential oils should always be used with caution around pets. Cats and birds are generally more sensitive to airborne oils than humans, and some oils are associated with higher risk, especially if ingested, applied directly or used in high concentration.

Oils more commonly linked to sensitivity concerns include tea tree, wintergreen, pine, cinnamon, clove, oregano, thyme, eucalyptus and concentrated citrus oils.

Some oils, such as lavender, chamomile and frankincense, are often regarded as milder when diffused in well ventilated spaces. However, no essential oil can be considered universally safe for all animals.

If you have pets, especially cats or birds, use essential oils in a well ventilated area, avoid direct contact, and monitor your pet’s behaviour. If unsure, consult a qualified veterinarian before use.
